11-7-20 4th Alarm Commercial Structure Fire, 1827 W Valley Blvd, 2 story concrete structure with fire in the subterranean storage. Firefighters found light smoke from the basement of "Handcrafted Nautical Decor" which had a heavy fire load of good. There were numerous specialized apparatus called to assist including LAFD's RS3 robot and LACoFD's Foam 1 for its high expansion foam.

LAFD touts RS3 as the "first robotic firefighting vehicle in the United States." It was deployed through access ramp to the basement on the "Charlie" side . We understand that this was the first use of this implement on an actual incident.
