Creek Incident (LACoFD)

Per Inciweb: The Creek Fire was reported at 3:44 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017. As of 2000 hrs on 12/5/17 it had grown to 11,000 acres due to strong, gusty winds. It is located on the LA Gateway ranger district on the Angeles National Forest. The fire is being managed under Unified Command with the U.S. Forest Service, LA County and LA City.

The photos in this gallery where taken just after first light on the western edge of the fire after flames had pushed through the Mountain Glen Terrace and Santiago Estates Areas damaging a number of structures.
