7/23/11, 4th Alarm Commercial Structure Fire at 1822 Langley Avenue in the City of Irvine (28's first in). Fire in a 100' x 100' tilt up housing an electronic manufacturing facility (Trantronics http://t.co/ezJElVR). Time of alarm approximately 1130 hrs. Switched to a defensive posture at 1154 hrs. At the height of the fire 5 ladder pipes were operating. Testing by OCFA Hazardous Materials Technicians triggered the precaution of full SCBA for firefighters operating in the smoke.
